Precision Fun Fly

Overview

The following events of “task oriented” criteria are intended to offer an introduction to precision flying in the following ways:

  1. A 10-meter space. This should provide a “feel” for what the precision geometry will look like if they decide to try Precision Aerobatics Competition.
  2. A direct learning path to understand and adjust the model for precision tasks (i.e. slowing down the controls, lowering head speed, etc.) like pilots do for hovering competition.
  3. A feel for fun within a competition event.
  4. Gather names and contacts for potential future database.

Our hope is that judges and pilots will have a good deal of constructive dialog.

Additionally, it will be a benefit for pilots to possibly consider some adjustments, to the model/gyro, prior to the next task.  To be successful, offering direct help from ARCCHS experts in this area.

Please consider making “constructive” notes so this can improve as we go.
