Mission
The American Radio Control Competition Helicopter Society is an organization dedicated to the promotion and advancement of competitive flying of radio-controlled precision aerobatic model helicopters and of competitive building and flying of radio-controlled scale helicopters. Our goals are:
- To create a national community of competition pilots that share information on flying and building aerobatic and scale model helicopters through printed, digital and social media
- To develop new precision hovering and aerobatic maneuvers for all AMA based helicopter competition classes
- To encourage fellow sport flyers to increase their skill level through competition
- To work with the Academy of Model Aeronautics Contest Board for radio controlled precision aerobatics and scale to provide counsel on rules changes based on member feedback
- To develop and maintain judging criteria
